Newark, NJ — The SEIU NJ State Council announced today the official launch of its renewed and revamped website, which now includes its complete translation into Spanish. The new site https://seiunj.org includes an affiliated Facebook page and X account @SEIU_NJ.
“The SEIU State Council has an established and strong track record with its members. This bilingual site underscores our commitment to keeping our members fully informed of our latest news and happenings,” said Donnie Johnson, Executive Director of the SEIU NJ State Council. “This is one of the many outreach efforts we plan to develop, to further fortify a fruitful and sustained dialogue with our working community and expand our communication efforts with the over 1.8 million Latinos living in the State.”
The new site is fully bilingual and includes a Members in Action page and a Member Voting Center (Información para Miembros Centro de Votación) with key information on voting dates, where to register, election day information and much more.
The site will include videos with a new Member Profile section and will continue to inform the public on latest campaigns for workers’ right to unionize, fight for safe staffing ratios in hospitals and nursing homes and will continue to highlight efforts in standing up against large corporations’ union-busting tactics.
